Background

Len Weaverling is a native of Tokyo, Japan who was educated at the American School in Japan.  He relocated to the Bay Area and lived in Belmont while he attended college in San Francisco.  Upon graduation, Len moved back to Tokyo where he worked in international business for 13 years during Asia’s “bubble” economy.  He worked with over 650 suppliers and traveled to over 60 countries during that period.  Through his years of experience in the import & export business, Len developed great communication skills, knowledge of the diverse cultural and social characteristics, and tough negotiating competency.  Married and the father of a son and daughter, he returned to the mid peninsula after “burning out” from traveling and being away from home for more than 6 months each year.  Energetic and determined, he entered the real estate profession when Cashin Company was founded.  He has since represented satisfied clients in transactions of condominiums to multi-million dollar estates throughout the San Francisco peninsula.  Len is bilingual in English and Japanese.

Giving to the Community

In addition to his many years of coaching Little League and youth soccer teams, Len is an active referee associated with the American Youth Soccer Organization and the California Youth Soccer Association.  He also serves on the local AYSO board.  Len is serving his 3rd year as co-chair of the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance and the vehicle donation program which benefit the public schools.  Len is dedicated to his community as well as their profession.  He supports various school programs and charitable organizations throughout the year.  Len truly cares about making a positive difference in the lives of those around them.

Len is a member of the San Mateo County Association of REALTORS®, the California Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.  He is also an active member of SAMCAR's Cultural Diversity Committee.  All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.

My Goals

Real estate is not just about buying or selling properties, it is about people.  It is about giving back to the community.  Most importantly, it is about caring and understanding the individual or family’s needs.  Len truly understands those values and is committed to working hard to meet that challenge.
